I would say Myanmar, or Burma is one of the most beautiful country in the world. It is a small country in Southeast Asia. It lies on the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea coast with Bangladesh and India to the west, China to the north, and Laos and Thailand to the east.

In 1989, the military junta officially changed the English version of its name from Burma to Myanmar. It also made a new name in English for places in the country, such as its former capital city, from Rangoon to Yangon. Accepting the name change in the English-speaking world has been slow, with many people still using the name Burma to refer to the country. Major news organizations like the BBC still call it Burma.


Myanmar has seven states which are Kachin state, Kaya state, Kayin state, Chin state, Mon state, Burma state, Rakhine state and Shan state.


This is my hometown in Chin state of Myanmar. It is Tedim town.
